People nowadays get married for almost the wrong reasons. Some time ago, I listened to my father talking about marriage and he asked some youths why they would like to get married.
Here are some replies:
- Marriage is something beautiful that should happen to any lady.
- We like the idea!
- I want to have sex every day.
- I want to come home every day to my own family.
- I need someone to always look after me.
Only then did I realize this generation is headed for doom if corrections are not made and notions changed!
If You Don’t Parenting Game Now, You’ll Hate Yourself Later
After the wedding, everyone invited departs, leaving just you two.
The relationship still continues just as in courtship but what happens when you fail to plan for childbearing? I have heard of newlyweds saying it is just too sudden to start nursing a child while some actually discuss it and agree that they are ready for parenthood.
A Rewarding Challenge
After childbirth, parenting can be so tiring and sometimes frustrating but the ability for both spouses to be able to manage each other during parenthood is what matters.
Make Your Parenting Game A Reality
Parenting is promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.
After childbirth, schedules change, priorities vary, the scale of preference redefines and most of all, attention is diverted and time is devoted to the child, especially when it is the first.
During this time, spouses tend to get lost in the shuffle, which might result in conflicts. Imagine the case of an aggressive and crying baby, the wife could get tired and want the husband to take charge for a while.
The husband starts acting up all of a sudden all in the name of office stress, tiredness and all sorts of excuses. The differences start to increase, not because they are mad at each other, but both carry the child’s interest at heart.
During this process, spouses tend to forget important days in their lives, spend more time apart and there is often a loss in communication, which can lead to chaos and even divorce.
Spouses should always have a consistent conversation and figure out ways to raise their children together without causing distance between themselves.
